Product Overview
The CH3-10Q/180 1250A Contact Box for Medium Voltage Withdrawable (Center-mounted) Switchgear is manufactured using an epoxy resin APG (Automatic Pressure Gelation) process with a pressure gel-cast structure. It is a dedicated insulating connection device for draw-out (withdrawable) switchgear, primarily applied in 10KV–12KV class truck-type (draw-out) switchgear. It serves the functions of insulation isolation and transitional connection, providing effective insulation protection for internal contacts within the switchgear and ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power system.
Application Scope
This contact box is applicable to 10KV–12KV class truck-type draw-out switchgear and is commonly used in power distribution systems, industrial substations, high-rise building distribution rooms, mining and industrial enterprise distribution systems, and other power facilities. It functions as an insulation protection and transitional connection component for internal contacts within switchgear, providing reliable insulation assurance for the switching and isolation of high-voltage circuits.
Operating Conditions
The installation altitude shall not exceed 1000 m.
Ambient air temperature: -10°C to +40°C; relative humidity shall not exceed 95% at 25°C.
The installation environment shall be free of gases, vapors, dust, and other explosive or corrosive media that could significantly impair the insulation performance of the contact box.
The product shall be installed in locations free from severe vibration and mechanical shock to ensure structural integrity.
Product Features
Superior Insulation Performance: Formed using the epoxy resin APG process, the product exhibits excellent insulation properties, effectively isolating high-voltage circuits, preventing leakage and short-circuit risks, and withstanding high-voltage impulses.
Robust and Durable Structure: The monolithic molded construction provides high mechanical strength, capable of withstanding both mechanical and electrical stresses within the switchgear, resulting in a long service life.
Effective Temperature Rise Control: Under continuous rated current operation, the temperature rise at the outgoing terminal does not exceed 65°C, ensuring safe equipment operation and preventing faults caused by excessive temperature rise.
Convenient Installation: Standardized mounting dimensions compatible with conventional draw-out switchgear installation requirements, facilitating on-site installation and replacement.
Corrosion and Oxidation Resistance: The epoxy resin material provides excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, suitable for a variety of complex power environments.
Excellent Surface Finish: Smooth, burr-free surface for easy installation, with good flame-retardant and wear-resistant characteristics.
