Product Overview
The CH3-10Q/190 1600A withdrawable switchgear contact box is manufactured using an epoxy resin APG (Automatic Pressure Gelation) process with a pressure gel molding structure. It is a high-current insulating connection device dedicated to withdrawable (truck-type) switchgear, primarily used in 10KV–12KV class draw-out switchgear. It provides insulation isolation and transitional connection, delivering effective insulation protection for internal switchgear contacts in high-current power transmission applications, ensuring safe and stable operation of the electrical system.
Application Scope
This contact box is applicable to 10KV–12KV class draw-out withdrawable switchgear and is commonly used in large power distribution systems, industrial substations, high-rise building distribution rooms, large mining and industrial enterprise distribution systems, and other electrical facilities requiring high-current transmission. It serves as an insulation protection and transitional connection component for internal switchgear contacts, providing reliable insulation for the switching and isolation of high-voltage circuits to meet high-current power transmission requirements.
Operating Conditions
Installation altitude shall not exceed 1000 m above sea level.
Ambient air temperature: -5°C to +40°C; relative humidity shall not exceed 95% at 25°C.
The installation site shall be free of gases, vapors, dust, and other explosive or corrosive media that could significantly impair the insulation performance of the contact box.
The unit shall be installed in locations free from severe vibration and mechanical shock to ensure structural integrity.
Intended for indoor installation only; compatible with single-busbar arrangement mounting configurations.
Product Features
Superior insulation performance: Formed using the epoxy resin APG process, providing excellent insulation properties that effectively isolate high-voltage circuits, prevent leakage and short-circuit hazards, and withstand high-voltage impulses.
High-current capability: Rated current up to 1600A, meeting the high-current transmission requirements of large power facilities while minimizing resistive heating losses.
Robust and durable construction: Monolithic molded structure with high mechanical strength, capable of withstanding both mechanical and electrical stresses within the switchgear; long service life.
Effective temperature rise control: Under continuous rated current operation, the temperature rise at the cable terminal does not exceed 65°C, ensuring safe equipment operation and preventing faults caused by excessive temperature rise.
Easy installation: Standardized mounting dimensions compatible with conventional withdrawable switchgear, facilitating on-site installation and replacement.
Corrosion and oxidation resistance: Epoxy resin material provides excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, suitable for a wide range of demanding electrical environments.
High-quality surface finish: Smooth, burr-free surface for ease of installation, with good flame-retardant and wear-resistant properties.
