Product Overview
The CHZ1-20kV/205 contact box is manufactured using an epoxy resin APG (Automatic Pressure Gelation) process with a pressure-gel molded structure. It is a dedicated insulating connection device for 20kV class draw-out switchgear, primarily applied in 20kV class draw-out centrally-mounted switchgear cabinets. The device provides insulating isolation and transitional connection functions, delivering effective insulation protection for internal contacts within the switchgear. It is suitable for conventional current transmission applications and ensures the safe and stable operation of power systems.
Scope of Application
This contact box is applicable to 20kV class draw-out centrally-mounted switchgear cabinets, commonly found in power distribution systems, industrial substations, high-rise building distribution rooms, mining and industrial enterprise distribution systems, and other power facilities. It serves as the insulation protection and transitional connection component for internal contacts in switchgear, providing reliable insulation for the switching and isolation of high-voltage circuits, and meeting the demands of conventional current power transmission.
Operating Conditions
Installation altitude shall not exceed 1000 m;
Ambient air temperature range: -10°C to +40°C; relative humidity shall not exceed 95% at 25°C;
The installation site shall be free of gases, vapors, dust, and other explosive or corrosive media that could significantly impair the insulation performance of the contact box;
The device shall be installed in locations free from severe vibration and mechanical shock to ensure structural integrity;
Intended for indoor installation, compatible with standard busbar mounting configurations.
Product Features
Superior insulation performance: Formed via epoxy resin APG process, providing excellent insulation characteristics that effectively isolate high-voltage circuits, prevent leakage and short-circuit risks, and withstand high-voltage impulses;
Robust and durable construction: Monolithic molded structure offers high mechanical strength, capable of withstanding both mechanical and electrical stresses within the switchgear enclosure, resulting in extended service life;
Effective temperature rise control: Under continuous rated current operation, the temperature rise at the terminal outlet does not exceed 65°C, ensuring safe equipment operation and preventing failures caused by excessive thermal buildup;
Convenient installation: Standardized mounting dimensions compatible with conventional 20kV centrally-mounted switchgear, facilitating on-site installation and replacement;
Corrosion and oxidation resistance: The epoxy resin material exhibits excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, suitable for a wide range of complex electrical environments;
Superior surface finish: Smooth, burr-free surface for ease of installation, with good flame-retardant and wear-resistant properties.
