Description
The 2DX cable-type short-circuit fault indicator (Flip-disc Display) and IDX overhead-type short-circuit fault indicators share the same working principle. The overhead-type is applicable to overhead lines (both bare and insulated conductors), while the cable-type is used on cable lines of ring main units, switchgears and box-type substations. A flip disc will turn red to indicate a short-circuit fault on the line.
Installation Method
Open the spring on the back and clamp the indicator onto the cable for immediate use.
