Product Overview
The CH3-10Q/210 630-1250A Contact Box (KYN1) is manufactured using an epoxy resin APG (Automatic Pressure Gelation) process with a pressure gel molding structure. It serves as a dedicated insulating connection device for the KYN1 series draw-out type high-voltage switchgear. Primarily applied in 10 kV class KYN1 series draw-out switchgear, it provides insulating isolation and transitional interconnection, delivering effective insulation protection for internal contacts within the switchgear and ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power system. The device is fully compatible with the installation requirements of KYN1 series switchgear.
Scope of Application
This contact box is applicable to 10 kV class KYN1 series draw-out switchgear, and is commonly used in power distribution systems, industrial substations, high-rise building distribution rooms, and mining and industrial enterprise power distribution systems. It functions as an insulation protection and transitional interconnection component for the internal contacts of KYN1 series switchgear, providing reliable insulation for the switching and isolation of high-voltage circuits. It is compatible with the distribution, control, and protection requirements of KYN1 series switchgear.
Operating Conditions
Installation altitude shall not exceed 1000 m above sea level.
Ambient air temperature range: -10°C to +40°C; relative humidity shall not exceed 95% at 25°C.
The installation environment shall be free from gases, vapors, dust, and other explosive or corrosive media that could significantly impair the insulation performance of the contact box.
The device shall be installed in locations free from severe vibration and mechanical shock to ensure structural integrity.
The seismic intensity at the installation site shall not exceed Intensity 8, and wind speed shall not exceed 34 m/s.
Product Features
Superior Insulation Performance: Formed using the epoxy resin APG process, the product exhibits excellent insulation properties, effectively isolating high-voltage circuits, preventing leakage and short-circuit risks, and withstanding high-voltage impulses.
Robust and Durable Structure: The integrally molded construction provides high mechanical strength, capable of withstanding both mechanical and electrical stresses within the switchgear, resulting in an extended service life.
Effective Temperature Rise Control: Under continuous rated current operation, the temperature rise at the terminal outlet does not exceed 65°C, ensuring safe equipment operation and preventing faults caused by excessive temperature rise.
Convenient Installation: Standardized mounting dimensions ensure compatibility with KYN1 series draw-out switchgear, facilitating on-site installation and replacement.
Corrosion and Oxidation Resistance: The epoxy resin material exhibits excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, suitable for a wide range of complex electrical environments.
Superior Surface Finish: The smooth, burr-free surface facilitates easy installation and provides good flame-retardant and wear-resistant characteristics.
