The CH Dual-Port Contact Box is a dedicated insulating connection device for high-voltage switchgear. Application Scope
The Dual-Port Contact Box is suitable for 35KV–40.5KV class draw-out (truck-type) switchgear, centrally-mounted switchgear (C-GIS), and other high-voltage power distribution equipment. It is commonly installed in industrial substations, large commercial building distribution rooms, and power dispatch centers, serving as an insulating transition component for bidirectional high-voltage connections to achieve reliable interconnection and insulating isolation between two electrical circuits.
Operating Conditions
Installation altitude shall not exceed 1000 m above sea level;
Ambient air temperature range: −40°C to +70°C; relative humidity not exceeding 95% (at 25°C);
The installation environment shall be free of gases, vapors, dust, or other explosive and corrosive media that could significantly degrade the insulating performance of the contact box;
The unit shall be installed in locations free from severe vibration and mechanical shock to ensure structural integrity.
