Counter (including online monitor)
The monitor and arrester are connected in series with the power grid to monitor the arrester‘s leakage current in real time and record the number of times the arrester operates. Based on changes in the leakage current, any abnormalities in the arrester’s operation can be promptly identified to prevent accidents and improve the reliability of the power system’s operation.
The counter is a device connected in series at the low-voltage end of the arrester to record the number of times the arrester operates. Its usage conditions are the same as those of the connected arrester.
