Product Overview
The CH3-24kV/225 630-1600A contact box for withdrawable centrally-mounted switchgear is manufactured using an epoxy resin APG (Automatic Pressure Gelation) process with a pressure gel molding structure. It is a dedicated insulating connecting device for 24kV class truck-type withdrawable switchgear, primarily applied in 24kV class withdrawable centrally-mounted switchgear installations. The device serves the functions of insulating isolation and connection transition, providing effective insulation protection for internal switchgear contacts. It is suitable for medium-current power transmission applications, ensuring the safe and stable operation of electrical power systems.
Scope of Application
This contact box is applicable to 24kV class truck-type withdrawable switchgear and is commonly found in power distribution systems, industrial substations, high-rise building distribution rooms, mining and industrial enterprise distribution systems, and similar electrical installations. It functions as an insulation protection and connection transition component for internal switchgear contacts, providing reliable insulation assurance for the switching and isolation of high-voltage circuits, and accommodating medium-current power transmission requirements.
Operating Conditions
Installation altitude shall not exceed 1000 m above sea level;
Ambient air temperature: -10°C to +40°C; relative humidity shall not exceed 95% at 20°C;
The installation site shall be free from gases, vapors, dust, and other explosive or corrosive media that could significantly degrade the insulation performance of the contact box;
The device shall be installed in locations free from severe vibration and mechanical shock, to ensure structural integrity of the product;
Suitable for indoor installation; compatible with standard busbar mounting configurations.
Product Features
Superior insulation performance: Formed using the epoxy resin APG process, the product exhibits excellent insulation properties, effectively isolating high-voltage circuits and preventing leakage and short-circuit risks, with high resistance to impulse overvoltage;
Robust and durable structure: The monolithic molded construction provides high mechanical strength, capable of withstanding both mechanical and electrical stresses within the switchgear enclosure, resulting in an extended service life;
Well-controlled temperature rise: Under continuous rated current operation, the temperature rise at the terminal outlet does not exceed 65°C, effectively ensuring safe equipment operation and preventing faults caused by excessive temperature rise;
Easy installation: Standardized mounting dimensions compatible with conventional 24kV centrally-mounted switchgear, facilitating on-site installation and replacement;
Corrosion and oxidation resistance: The epoxy resin material provides excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, enabling reliable performance across a wide range of demanding electrical environments;
Excellent surface finish: Smooth, burr-free surface for convenient installation, with good flame-retardant and wear-resistant characteristics.
