Product Overview
The TG2-10Q/182 (152×152) Bushing is an indoor epoxy resin high-voltage wall bushing manufactured as an integrated cast structure using the APG pressure gelation process.
It is designed for three-phase AC power systems rated at 10 kV and below. The bushing allows conductive busbars or cables to pass through grounded switchgear partitions, walls, and similar structures while providing electrical insulation, mechanical support, and conductor connection.
It is widely used in withdrawable switchgear, ring main units, and other complete power distribution equipment.

Product Features
Excellent Insulation Performance
The bushing is integrally cast using the APG process, producing a dense structure without bubbles or visible defects.
It provides high dielectric strength and extremely low partial discharge, helping reduce the risk of surface flashover and maintain stable insulation performance.
High Mechanical Strength
The glass-fibre-reinforced epoxy resin structure provides excellent bending, compression, and impact resistance.
It can withstand busbar installation stress and the electrodynamic forces generated under short-circuit conditions.
Strong Environmental Adaptability
The product provides reliable resistance to moisture, contamination, high temperatures, and low temperatures.
No special maintenance is normally required. Periodic cleaning of the insulating surface is sufficient under standard operating conditions.
Optimized Structural Design
The double-shed structure increases the creepage distance and improves surface insulation performance.
The square mounting flange is compatible with standard switchgear openings, providing convenient installation and reliable sealing.
Safe and Environmentally Responsible
The product complies with RoHS environmental requirements and contains no toxic or hazardous substances.
Under standard operating conditions, its expected service life is at least 30 years.

Installation and Maintenance
Installation Requirements
- Pre-installation inspection: Confirm that the bushing is free from cracks, damage, bubbles, and other visible defects. Check that the flange is flat and that the dimensions meet the installation requirements.
- Installation method: Insert the bushing through the switchgear partition or wall and secure the flange with bolts. Ensure that the sealing gasket, where provided, is correctly installed to prevent air movement between switchgear compartments.
- Busbar installation: Pass the busbar through the inner opening. Ensure that the busbar does not contact the inner wall or apply mechanical stress to the bushing. Maintain sufficient and even insulation clearance.
- Grounding requirements: The mounting flange must be reliably connected to the switchgear enclosure or grounded wall structure. The grounding resistance must comply with the applicable requirements.
Maintenance Requirements
- Routine maintenance: No special maintenance is normally required. Clean dust and contamination from the bushing surface every 6 to 12 months to keep the insulating surface clean and dry.
- Periodic testing: During scheduled switchgear maintenance, conduct insulation resistance and power-frequency withstand voltage tests to confirm that the insulation performance remains acceptable.
- Replacement conditions: Replace the bushing immediately if cracks, mechanical damage, severe contamination, or reduced insulation performance are found.
Applicable Standards
- GB/T 12944.1, High-Voltage Wall Bushings—Part 1: Porcelain and Glass-Fibre Bushings
- GB/T 11022, Common Specifications for High-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Standards
- IEC 60137, Insulated Bushings for Alternating Voltages Above 1,000 V
- JB/T 10686, Indoor Epoxy Resin Cast Wall Bushings for 1 kV to 35 kV Systems
Precautions
- This product is intended for indoor use only and must not be installed directly in exposed outdoor environments.
- Avoid severe impact, dropping, and rough handling during installation and transportation to prevent cracking.
- Do not drill, cut, or otherwise machine the bushing surface, as this may damage the insulating structure.
- For high-altitude, high-temperature, corrosive, or other special operating conditions, inform the manufacturer in advance so that a customized product can be supplied.
- Store the product in a dry, ventilated environment free from corrosive gases and protect it from moisture.
