Product Features

High-Precision Forming

The bending plate is manufactured using precision casting and machining processes. Dimensional tolerances can be controlled within ±0.1 mm, while the bending angle deviation is maintained within 1°, helping meet the requirements of precision sheet metal fabrication.

Stable and Durable Structure

The integrated structure provides reliable mechanical stability during repeated bending operations. The optimized rounded transition distributes stress more evenly and helps reduce the risk of cracking or local damage to the sheet.

The high-strength material also provides good impact resistance, wear resistance, and long-term resistance to deformation.

Wide Compatibility

The WB-35Q/80 3AV3 Bending Plate is compatible with many conventional press brake models. It can be used with different sheet materials and thicknesses, allowing operators to adapt it to multiple production requirements.

Quick and Convenient Installation

Standardized mounting holes allow the component to be installed using commonly available fasteners. No major modification to the machine base is normally required, reducing installation time and changeover costs.

Low Maintenance Requirements

The protective surface coating helps isolate the metal from moisture and corrosive substances. Routine maintenance mainly involves surface cleaning, fastener inspection, and coating repair where necessary.

Operating Conditions

Equipment Requirements

The recommended press brake capacity is between 80 and 120 tons. The effective worktable length should be at least 600 mm.

The press brake slide stroke should be no less than 150 mm to provide sufficient forming depth.

For reliable bending accuracy, the slide parallelism of the press brake should be within 0.05 mm per metre. Excessive machine deviation may affect the bending angle and finished dimensions.

Environmental Conditions

ConditionRequirement
Operating Temperature-10°C to 45°C
Relative HumidityMaximum 85%, non-condensing
Installation SurfaceFlat, solid, and structurally stable machine base

Avoid operating the component in excessively high temperatures that may soften the protective coating or in extremely low temperatures that may increase material brittleness.

The installation area should remain dry and free from corrosive substances. An unstable or uneven machine base may cause misalignment during operation.

Operating Instructions

Before installation, clean the mounting surface of the bending plate and the machine base. Remove metal particles, oil, burrs, and other contaminants to ensure full contact between the surfaces.

Align the centre of the bending plate with the centreline of the press brake slide. The alignment deviation should not exceed 0.5 mm. Incorrect alignment may result in uneven loading and premature component damage.

Carry out a trial bend before starting batch production. Measure the angle and dimensions of the first finished part and continue production only after confirming that the result meets the required specification.

Do not force sheets beyond the recommended thickness or hardness range. Overloading may damage the bending plate, workpiece, or press brake.

During operation, prevent the sheet from striking the rounded transition area. Inspect the working surfaces regularly for abnormal wear, cracking, or deformation.

Maintenance and Care

Daily Maintenance

After each working shift, wipe the bending plate with a clean, dry cloth to remove metal particles, oil, dust, and other contaminants.

Check all mounting bolts and fasteners. Tighten any loose components to maintain stable positioning during operation.

Inspect the surface coating. If scratches, chips, or exposed metal areas are found, apply suitable anti-rust paint promptly.

Periodic Maintenance

Inspect the working surfaces every month. When wear on the main contact surface reaches or exceeds 0.2 mm, repair the surface by professional grinding or replace the component as necessary.

Every three months, clean the mounting holes and positioning surfaces. Apply suitable anti-rust oil to prevent corrosion and seizure.

A full inspection should be conducted annually. Check for material fatigue, structural deformation, dimensional deviation, cracks, and abnormal wear. Adjust, repair, or replace the bending plate when it no longer meets the required forming accuracy.

Storage

For long-term storage, clean and dry the bending plate thoroughly. Apply anti-rust oil and wrap the component in moisture-resistant packaging.

Store it in a dry, ventilated warehouse away from corrosive chemicals and excessive moisture.

Do not stack more than three units together. Improper stacking or excessive pressure may cause deformation or surface damage.

Safety Precautions

Do not bend sheets that exceed the recommended thickness or material hardness. Excessive loading may cause the bending plate to crack and may damage the press brake.

Operators should wear protective gloves and safety glasses to reduce the risk of injury from sharp sheet edges, metal particles, or material rebound.

Only trained personnel should install, adjust, inspect, or maintain the bending plate. Unauthorized disassembly or modification may affect its structural strength and forming accuracy.

Stop using the product immediately if cracks, severe wear, deformation, or other structural damage is found. Replace the damaged component with a qualified replacement before restarting the machine.
